Q: If a TV episode or movie worked on by an animation studio or VFX studio or post-production facility was aired or broadcast in markets/territories outside Asia Pacific, do we qualify?
A: Yes. We recognize that a lot of the work produced by studios in Asia Pacific may not be for the APAC market. The work definitely qualifies, but only those aired within the eligibility date (in the U.S. or elsewhere).
Q: My production company shot a TVC for the European market, but post-production was done in Europe. Do we qualify?
A: If your production company is based in Asia Pacific, and the TVC was first broadcast in the eligibility period, then it qualifies for the production categories. However, since post-production was done by a studio in Europe, it is not eligible for the post-production categories.
